My father was part-owner of a hardware store and John Deere Dealership, so as a child, I played at the dealership and asked for the John Deere toys every Christmas. I had the whole John Deere mini-farm, and of course, on our family farm we had several Deere machines.
So when I got the chance to work on this iconic American brand to help them define their purpose alongside important transformation work to become a smart industrial, I was so excited. We went on to do more culture work, help out with investor day, and create a campaign for hiring more tech workers. I’m so happy that our partnership that began in 2019 has continued. In fact, my last trip before the pandemic was the Deere headquarters where I had the incredible opportunity to ride on a planter and see one of the original John Deere self-scouring plows.
